The SUPR Policy Configurator is provided as a convenience tool to assist Ohio employers in drafting a substance use prevention and recovery policy aligned with the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) SUPR program framework. This tool does not constitute legal advice, regulatory guidance, or a guarantee of program compliance.
The employer is solely and ultimately responsible for ensuring that any policy produced, adopted, or implemented complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations — including but not limited to the Drug-Free Workplace Act, 49 CFR Part 40 (USDOT), Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4123, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and all current BWC SUPR program requirements.
Burkins Ritchie & Associates, LLC ("BR&A") provides compliance assistance services as a BWC-Authorized Representative; however, BR&A does not guarantee approval, reimbursement eligibility, or regulatory compliance of any policy generated through this tool. Employers should consult qualified legal counsel to review their policy prior to adoption and implementation.
